CrisisCrunch is a PBN blog dedicated to providing key information from Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan on the crisis as it evolves.

Today’s unprecedented global crisis is not only a financial crisis - lack of confidence is playing a major role and the economies of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan will not start to revive until confidence and trust are restored. In tough economic times, communication takes on a new importance and urgency. This blog is conceived in the spirit of dialogue and information sharing, which is necessary for a robust recovery to begin.

CrisisCrunch has two complementary objectives:

• To provide statistics, anecdotes, information and analysis that chart the crisis from on the ground in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

• To analyse how the crisis is being communicated in those markets, particularly the dialogue between political and corporate leaders and the public on how events are evolving and what steps are being taken to address issues and restore confidence.

As such, we scrutinise the measures taken by governmental authorities and celebrate business leaders who have the courage to engage, to provide context, and to offer ideas. Now is the time for politicians to articulate their vision of what the future might hold, and for corporate  leaders to emerge from their bunkers and demonstrate that they have plans not only to survive, but to thrive.
